The Wall photos – is from a several abonded building near Berlin.

Old buildings that has been locked down for 24 years. Here we see walls damaged by moisture and the ravages of time. For some the only solution is to close the whole thing down, but for me and the film industrial, it’s a gold mine of locations. Therefore such a great location for the Danish awarded film ”Men and Chicken” also played by Mads Mikkelsen.

The houses in the Tubercolosis sanetorium hospital are mostly still intact and in architecture virtually unchanged.
There were only minor structural adjustments of the Russian army, which operated from 1945 to 1993 in the Beelitzer Heilstätten the largest central military hospital outside the former Soviet Union. Also used for the Nazi soldiers wounded on the warzones near by through the WW2.

The Beelitzer Heilstätten are one of the most forsaken places around Berlin. Attracted by the beautiful villa-style architecture and the magnificent setting of the historical walls you will at this abandoned place today witnessed the golden age of the sanatorium from the 1900. Tremendous staircases with huge columns, endless corridors and light-flooded halls characterize the visually stunning designs.
